This joyous seasonal concert will feature the rarely performed Christmas Story of Heinrich Schütz, Historia der Geburt Jesu Christi, bringing to life angels, shepherds, wise-men and an extended ensemble of period strings, organ, recorders, and brass instruments. The program will also include medieval processionals, Shaker songs, motets of Praetorius and Tallis.
