Asa Bradford

Asa has performed as a bass-baritone in choral settings since his youth. He is educated in both music and art from the University of Southern Maine, where he spent several years singing with Robert Russell’s Chamber Singers. Asa began performing early music with the Schola Cantorum at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception under the directions of Philip Fournier. He is also a founding member of the St Mary Schola. Asa also spent many years after college pursuing the craft of lutherie, mainly focusing on the violin family of instruments, while also working for a classical guitar maker. One of Asa’s violins can be heard in the hands of fellow St Mary Schola musician, Lauren Hastings Genova. He continues to hone his skills in the craft.
