Rachel Keller is a soprano with a diverse background in music performance, music therapy and as a voice and piano instructor. Raised and educated in England, she holds a BA in music and a Graduate Diploma in music therapy. She performed early music there with the Yorkshire Bach Choir as well as supporting roles with York Opera. Since immigrating to the USA in 1996 she has performed both as a chorister and soloist with Ancient Voices at the University of Pennsylvania, Portland’s Renaissance Voices, Choral Art, and as a recitalist with the Portland Rossini Club. Rachel has reveled singing with the St. Mary Schola since 2012. She is an active soprano soloist in Maine and a chorister and soloist at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She teaches voice privately and resides in Cape Elizabeth with her husband, two children and pussycat. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including bicycling, kayaking, cross-country skiing and gardening as well as practicing yoga.
