Sara Sturdivant is thrilled to be performing with St Mary Schola. Sara holds a masters degree from the University of Southern Maine, and a professional studies diploma from the Mannes Conservatory. Major singing credits include winning the 2017 New Hampshire opera idol competition, performing the role of ‘Giovanna’ in Verdi’s Rigoletto in 2015, and the role of ‘Gertrude’ in Romeo et Juliette in 2009, both with Opera Maine. Sara also sang the alto solos in Messiah in 2009 at Carnegie Hall with Oratorio Society of New York, under the baton of Kent Tritle. Sara spends most of her time these days behind an organ, piano, or conductor’s baton, and relishes her time with her active studio of piano and voice students.
